SUN RISING OVER BASTORA
Today morning, I woke up earlier than the sun. I was restless, with thoughts of our moving to BASTORA causing me sleepless nights and stressful days.
Packing to move is a mammoth task; sifting through almost two decades of accumulated stuff is a challenge like no other. This time I am determined to downsize as much as I possibly can and then downsize some more.
I went to the kitchen, reset it for the day and SHONE MY SINK. Then I got ready to go for Mass with my family. (We go to MBBS every Sunday.)
By 7 am, we were cruising across the strip from Mapusa bus depot to the highway. I looked out of the window, to my left. The sun, hazy from its night slumber, was rising from the hills behind the village of Bastora.
What a joy that scene gave me! My future village, my home-to-be for the rest of my earthly life! Bastora was basking in the dawn light of the rising sun.
A thrill of anticipation rushed through my soul as I praised God for that beautiful scene. God paints gloriously and each of His canvases are unique.

But, no camera can really do justice to what I could see with my own two eyes, gifted to me by a God who puts things in perspective, 1 point or 2 point.
As humans, we long for JOY but run after happiness and pleasure. We embrace fleeting thrills but we fail to see that God has already kept for us everything that will bring us ecstacy if we would only
